Liverpool's Star Offers Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the group of players after the uproar from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a vital match following making accusations and claiming his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.

Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” he continued.
Jones also noted that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I get that there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
The team's performance have remained strong in the matches since the situation. He feels the Salah's words were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and starting to win games.”
